Steeped in historic Charleston's rich, classic style and decorative arts culture, the King Charles stonewashed 100% cotton matelassé bedding collection offers the ultimate blend of European, Caribbean, and Asian influences. Embellishing the bedspread and coverlet are motifs reproduced from a 19th century example featuring a tufted design throughout and four motifs around the bottom edge: the sun, a topiary, a pheasant and a pineapple; origin England - circa 1820.

Intricate details including rolling arches, half moons, double diamonds and scrolling vines come together to create this beautiful collection. The coverlet and bedspread drape beautifully over the bed to reveal rounded corners enhanced with a bedskirt, shams and decorative pillows, each with their own unique design.
